Default FURUNO, RAYMARINE, OR GARMIN FF

i have narrowed my search down to these last fishfinders furuno LS4100TM AND LS6100; garmin 340C AND 400C; raymarine DS400X AND DS500X. im leaning toward the LS6100 but am not sure. the RM DS500X is a little to expensive for what i want but maybe find a cheap one.all but one is under 400 dollars so you see my desired price range. but the furuno LS6100 will probably come out to be 400 dollars with the transducers. i am fishing in freshwater that goes up to 120 maybe if that.

any advice would be helpful from you guys with experiences with these ff.

thanks

I would get one of the color Garmin's before I would back down to a mono like the 6100.

I just purchased the 340c so I can't tell you how well it works yet. However, I can tell you Airborne is selling one on THT for a pretty reasonable price. I picked one up on Ebay (Dual Frequency) for $305...I think for a quality FF, you can't go wrong with that price. I am upgrading from a Garmin 240 Blue...

Within that budget, might also want to consider a used Furuno FCV-600L.
That's what I did and overall very satisfied with it's performance.
There's one listed on THT trading dock at this time -
