Raymarine Update v4.26 question

For this new software version there is now an option under GPS Status, other setup that allows you to turn ON/OFF "All Other SD Satellites". The default was OFF, I turned it ON and haven't noticed a difference. Nothing found here, Google or at Raymarine's website.

Does anyone know what this option does?

wonder if this turns off the "tornando in topeka" problem with Wx module?

There are other satellite differential systems. For example, EGNOS is for Europe. I have mine set for only WAAS. I think having the system look for satellites that aren't there might just slow down the fix process a bit.

Jim - you are getting a SD fix, right?

Thanks for clarifying and it would make sense to not have it look for sats not there. Pretty sure I get SD but I'll confirm and let you know.

Reset to WAAS only and confirmed I get SD. Thanks again.
