thanks guys

PSW, i know what you mean, i cant wait to install the navnet 3d. we already have some boats that are quoted for them. not only will they be cool to play with, but they will fix a ton of our installation/setup issues that we have with large navnet packages. you can only have 4 navnets running at the same time with the navnet 2, i think i read that you can have up to 10 navnets on the network with the navnet 3d.

In my opinion ,this boat has enough electronics, but you did not go overboard.

Duct

I wish you'd quit torturing us non-lottery winners with these boats and installs. (Kidding, keep 'em coming, very high "drool factor.")

And your work is amazing. (What do your wire-tie and Sharpie bills run, per year?)

thank you. you should see the trash box at the end of the day. for every zip tie that ends up on the finish product, i probably waste 2 more just getting the wires laid out nice

and sharpies are like gold where i work, we go through more boxes than i can count

trust me, just working on these boats is torture enough, knowing that if i'm lucky, i might own my own "small" center console someday

Why cut a hole in the panel for the DIRECTV receiver when you can just set it up to work RF and have it hidden???? Also the Salon DTV receiver should be black to match better.......H-21 instead of H-20.........Actually HR-21s would be even sweeter..............Get rid of the stateroom IR system and go with a Harmony 890.....RF setup and a nice Universal remote........Don't mean to pick.......just constructive criticism.............................The client obviously has the money for it............

the receiver needs to be accessed to get to the reset button, these systems sometimes need to be reset, and pulling off an access panel is not an option. we have tried that in the past, and it has burned us. so now our policy is to keep them easily accessible.

as far as the h20 goes. when this boat was done, we hadnt received our h21 shipments.

and concerning the Rf remotes, you are preaching to the choir. i would much rather order the 20 dollar rf remote from directv and use those, than deal with i/r repeater systems.

we do use Nevo SL remotes on some boats, but like i said, this was a stock boat. if the customer wants one, i will be happy to program one for him.

and i thought i liked to nitpick other peoples work....
