GARMIN 2006 MONO AND 2006 COLOR

On my boat presently is a garmin 182 or 188 color and a garmin 2006mono.

both existing unit have gps and sounder capabilities.

Im looking to rid myself of the smaller gps, but keep the color feature.

my question is will a garmin 2006color work with existing wiring(reciver and black box set up) for the 2006mono or will I have to run a new antenna and associated wiring?

im buying it either way(price I cant turn down), but it would be nice if
its a plug and play type deal.

The 2006c will work with the existing wiring of the old 2006 mono unit...I did the same with a 2010c and 2010...What are you paying for the 2006c ? I see the next model up 3006c refurbished for 699.00 which would also work with existing wiring ...

the price, less than what I paid for the transducer for the 2006mono.


needless to say, Id make money even if I blew it out on Ebay.

Unplug the 2006mono and plug in the 2006C. Man, sounds like you got that unit for a song!! Does the guy you got it from have any more??
