I had some problems with v425 as did others, so I went back to v318. Now need to load v426 for the WAAS thing and I understand the only difference of v425 and v426 is WAAS.
Have the issues with v425 been corrected or will I have to put up with the few issues from v425 to have WAAS with V426?
When I spoke with the folks at Raymarine, they told me that the only thing 4.26 did was enable WAAS. Any other issues that may have been identified to them have not been addressed in 4.26.
With me at times my position would freeze up, wasn't very responsive to position changes, would get double text, and would show my boat at a completely different location from my true location. Others reported problems with way points and routes.
C80 with 4kW Radome and dsm 300 using Nav gold, no network. Didn't have the above issues before loading v425. Raymarine made a statement on how to enter way points for those who were having problems. I'm surprised no one on this board did not experience any of these issues or maybe they just haven't posted to such.
I have a C120 that wants to turn itself off and on at will. Raymarine told me to do a factory re-set and that acomplished nothing. I checked on their website and they had a fix for this problem, install v426. I did and the problem still exists by the way did I mention I've only had the unit for 2 days?
Have you checked that it's getting appropriate voltage at the plotter itself? I've found it's critical to use proper gauge wire, or even a grade larger, to avoid voltage drop. Measure it at your batteries and then again right at the plotter.

Thanks Bill that is a good suggestion. I am firing the unit up on the bench with a 12 volt power supply with 2.5 amps. I realize the possibility of voltage drop or even failure of my power supply. I am planning on hooking it up to a bigger supply tomorrow to see if there is any diference. I got a little fired up tonight because the Raymarine folks told me the unit would have to be sent in for service. They did not even tell me of the FAQ post and fix on their site.
Raymarine is currently investigating a problem in which waypoints and routes having names beginning with number (i.e. 0-9) cause waypoints and routes to be improperly managed within the display's database. As initially reported, the problem may be worked around by importing the waypoints and routes into the free RayTech Planner software and replacing the first character of any waypoint or route currently having a numeric first character with an alphabetic or other character (i.e. and underscore, letter, etc.). The waypoints and routes may then be exported to a CF memory card and then imported into the C-Series display. When creating a waypoint or route on the C-Series display operating with v4.25, care should be taken to name the waypoint or route using a non-numeric first character. As specified, the problem is currently under investigation, and these recommendations should be considered preliminary. When Raymarine has completed its investigation of this problem, a FAQ will be posted on this topic.
I have also had issues, but a bit different. When I loaded the new software and powered up my screen looked like a bad TV channel. With lines through the screen, I ended up confirming the power supply and grounding the power cables shields with my 12 dc - connection and the troubles went away....strange but that's what I did.
