Just call them. They were very helpful to me on the phone. If the person you're talking to doesn't know maybe someone else will know there.

I'd give these guys a call. They are the USA distributor for Airmar. Most likely, Consumers Marine has to go through them to get Airmar parts anyway. They've gone out of their way helping me out more than once.

Call 'em. Sometimes picking up the phone does wonders... I've spent more than my wife will ever know with CM and they've always come through.

Agreed with the posts above. Consumers has always been helpful and has gone out of their way once or twice to help me out. Just give them a call - especially since the B164 is such a new unit.

I suggest you contact BOE. Jim is a great guy and THT sponsor. You will find his contact info in sponsor section. BOE service is the best and offers great prices.

Here's some more part numbers / cross-reference numbers.
http://www.airmartechnology.com/XRef...ace&Model=B164

These are not in a lot of catalogues and can still be hard to get, last I knew.
They may have the ss164 tilted. ss is a bit pricey. :-)

You want this because it is 1kw instead of 600watts ?

A few years back, Consumers was purchased by Overtons. I have noticed a decline in their customer service, their knowledge and their staff. Just about all of the guys that knew their stuff are now gone. Their prices have gone up as well. Jim at BOE now trumps them in both price and knowledge.................
