Default Underwater lighting??

Hello all,

I am looking to fit out my Searay 260 Sundancer with some underwater lights. I saw some blue ones on whilst docked the other night and they were to put it bluntly, quite spectacular!

Can anyone help my out as to where to buy them from since there seems to be a lot of different conflicting views on whose are the best?! Has anyone got theirs installed and can show me some pictures? Which mounting style is best? Does anyone rate the trim tabs lights?

Cheers for any help

Thanks for the advice!

Went for a pair of the OceanLED's 2010 series thru-hull in blue, I will post some photos on here after I have taken some that do the lights justice! They are absolutely stunning and took about an hour in total to install!

My boat now looks absolutely incredible at night! Am now saving up to go for the wrap around effect thats shown on the OceanLED website in the gallery section, so will keep everyone posted!

Will definitely recommend for anyone wanting easy to install, small 1" hole cut out and fantastic results!

I have them on my 2900 Hydra Sport CC. They were rigged at the factory, replaced by the dealer ..... and they still don't work.

Be careful and do your homework. There are several levels of quality products out there. Make sure you get the best and make sure that they are sealed from the inside as well as the outside from moisture.

the 1500 series draw a little less than 2 amps at 12 volts. divide that in 2 if you are running them off of 24 volts

I am the sales rep for OceanLED and would like to set the record straight on Fin-chaser. It is implied that you have Oceanled lighting on your 2900 Hydra-Sports rigged at the factory. Hydra-Sports factory installs Underwater Lights USA otherwise known as SeaVision, the number is 954-760-4447 for any warranty issues. If they are OceanLED lights, I would be interested to know who spec'd them on your boat and would like to find out why they are not working. Please contact us at 954-523-2250, as we have a two year warranty.
