Default Need a Recommendation

I'm hoping to get a recommendation on a good GPS/DF/FF unit that displays enough data to navigate coastal waters well.

Any thoughts on where to begin?

Default Re: Need a Recommendation

You need to decide on: space available on your boat; combo or separate units; price point (general); and what function is most important to you (GPS, ease of use, fish sonar capability). Product lines tend to do a number of things well, but excel in a particular area. Ex. Garmin excels in GPS and ease of use, while Raymarine and Furuno excel in sonar.

There are too many variables to give advice w/o some more input from you.
