Any easy way to input GPS coordinates into a Garmin 545?

Is there a way to easily add way-points, coordinates and fishing spots into a Garmin 545 without having to do it all on the unit, which is very tedious? Can you load your way-points via the computer, save them to a card and upload...if that is the right term?

There have been some great discussions of this question here on THT. Click on SEARCH above and specify 'waypoints' and select a period of several months. Then cruise!
