Default Raymarine RL 80 B/W

My friend has a Raymarine RL 80 B/W unit. He was looking to upgrade to the C80. Will he be able to use the existing radar antenna or will it have to be replaced. Thanks.

If its black and white, its a RL70, the 80 was only color (RL80C/RL80CRC) or monochrome CRT (green on black, R80/R80RC). if the scanner says "Raytheon" and not RayMarine the only thing he could re-use would be the scanner cable unless he remembers spending about $800 on the scanner in the last year or two for an upgrade that would only have been done if he wanted to go up to a C or E series.

I'm guessing it is probably a Raytheon unit, and will need to be replaced. Are you saying he would not have to run a new cable from the antenna to the display? Thanks.
