Default Furuno GP30 Help - Save my Waypoints!

Help! My GP30 is on the fritz - pixel lines have been appearing in an increasing fashion (they mitigate after several hours of leaving the unit on). Well, its time to upgrade to a unit with mapping capability, and I don't want to loose all of my waypoints. I know there is a way to connect to a PC, but what type of connection to I need to buy? Otherwise, it looks like I am spending some time with a pad and paper!

Thanks!

Daniel
