Re: Garmin 3210 , NEMA I think I might have figured it out, for the Furuno anyway. I was just re-reading the manual and there is an istallation menu for the LS-4100 to turn on GPS/WAAS and NEMA. I'll check it out in the morning.
If that fixed the sounder, the DSC might be a connection issue. The wires from the Icom 422 are the smallest wires I've ever seen, much smaller that the NEMA wires on the Garmin and Furuno. I might have cut them too far, I'll check that too.
I have to splice the DSC NEMA wires to have enough length, any tricks to strip those teeny wires without cutting the wire itself? My wire stripper wouldn't cut it, the smallest it will cut is 22ga. I stripped it with a box cutter but I couoldn't keep from cutting the thin wires too. |
