Default Simple Question....

Simple question !
If you had a choice.......
1. Which would you buy ;
LOWRANCE LCX-113C HD COMBO W/ LGC-3000 GPS NO DUCER .
RAYMARINE C120 ,GPS,SOUNDER NO DUCER.
I plan on purchasing an Airmar thru hull transducer,and fish the Caribbean waters normally 300'-3000'

2.Where would you purchase.

Honest opinions please .

It is generally accepted that Raymarine has the better sounder. The Ray sounder module (DSM300) paired with the B260 or M260 is hard to beat. I've heard of it reading to 2500+ feet.

I would go Lowrance but with that said I have never used the 113hd. I have a 111cHD and couldn't be happier with it. I've had Lowrance products for years and have been very happy with them and their customer service. I know BOE is highly recommended on this site but I don't have one in my area.I used Boater's World because of their ESP program. Any problems,no questions asked, return it and get another one.

No experience with Raymarine. I've read on this forum they tend to be very voltage sensitive.

I am partial to Raymarine because of personal experience. And Jim at BOE is one of the best Internet sources around.
