Navionics Mini & Furuno Mini

I am looking at purchasing a Furuno GP 1850DF which uses the Navionics Mini or Furuno Mini Cards. Are these worthwhile cards as I have never seen these before? I presently have a NavNet system that uses the Navionics Classic cards and want a back up. I presently fish the Great Lakes, (Lake Erie, St Clair and Lake Ontario). Thanks
