Random Quote: Aye Johnny, have you ever been lost at sea? No Cap'n, but I've been blown ashore many atime!
I would like to find the micro g chart for north jersey, but if I cant find one does anyone know if I can use it without a chip. I read somewhere that it has internal memory. Can I use it to establish and use waypoints? Thanks, Jim
I had one of those .yes you can use it without the G-chart .the G chart does not save way points just puts a better map overlay on the screen . so with out the G-chart you have the base map and all functions of the unit still work.
Sail I might have what you are looking for. However it will be a couple of weeks before I get to my boat to see exactly which one I have. I will check in the next couple of weeks. PM sent
no problem . i just looked ,if it helps you can got to the garmin site ,type 180 in the search and it will bring up this model and you can download the manual
