Humminbird not at Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

I just bought a boat with a Humminbird 947C on it. I have some questions about this unit. I went to the boat show today intending to find the answers to my questions. I was distressed to find that Humminbird was not an exhibitor at the show. Furthermore, I did not see a single booth with any Humminbird products.

Humminbird has never been a much of a player in the saltwater market, so there is no reason for them to spend money to exhibit at a saltwater show.

Off topic, but I also found it strange that Birdsall Marine goes to the Ft. Lauderdale show but not the larger Miami one.

It could be that Humminbird was represented thru a dealership that was at the show instead of having their own booth. Such representation is not uncommon, allows manfs to have a presents at most (or all) boat shows.
