I have about 1000 miles/60 hours on the water with the Lowrance XL 26 HD and using ferrite beads on all of the cables to/from the Lowrance unit, and antenna/power of the two VHF units--I have no interference.
Try the beads before giving up--or even sending the units back.

Finally got the GPS antenna installed and everything hooked up. NO INTERFERENCE! While sitting in the slip I performed radio tests with the GPS unit on and off and everything was good. The new unit that they shipped to me appears to have a brighter and clearer screen also.

Very nice! Do you get any feedback on your VHF from your engine? I get a little on a few channels which stops my scan especially when the engine is at idle? I figure this can be fixed with more chokes or something but the Lowrance interference was so bad I was not going to waste the time with the engine noise until I fixed the graph interference.

I fished all day with the new unit using the FF, GPS and VHF with no interference from the GPS or the engine. I think I may still invest in one of the VHF testers you can place in line to test the signal strength. I cut and replaced the VHF cable end several times while trouble shooting the previous problem, and I want to be sure.

That is great news! I will be sending mine back right after the first of the year.
