Default new gps in town

Has anybody seen or used the new Cobra 6oo series chartplotter? I went to their website and the unit sounds too good to be true.

Yes, I have, and liked it.

What's "too good to be true" about it?

Looks like a basic unit for an average (if that) price...

Thanks for the link. I think I am going to give the Cobra a shot. I like the dual viewing feature the best. Thanks

Have you looked at other units on the market? Maybe I'm missing something, but it really doesn't appear to be that much of a value compared to other manufacturers products. If you want a fishfinder, you're paying $300.00 for the black box, and additional for the transducer, meaning you're going to be over $1000.00 for the whole unit. My Lowrance LCX-25c was less than that (total) and it's a bigger screen... Just about every unit on the market has dual viewing options (with ff and gps screens)...

I'm not putting the Cobra down, don't get me wrong. I would just take a look at a lot of units first before settling on one...
