Navionics/C 120 question - The Hull Truth

I did not bring my owners manual with me on vacation and have not looked this up.

That said, I pluged in my new chart for vacation and it did not work. The C120 just kept trying to boot up. Any ideas? Took out the chart and the system worked fine off of the built in world map. The 120 works perfect with my Atlantic chart in it.

What happens when you boot with no card in , then put in your 'vacation' card? Can it read the chats then?

Can you read/write to the 'vacation' card? If so the card is good and your Navionics files must be corrupt. If not the CF card is probably bad given the CF reader works with other cards, such as your 'atlantic' card. Bottom line sounds like either corrupt files on the card or bad card. Good luck.

The chart can be read on my Navionics reader. The 120 works fine on all fronts untill I insert the CF card. I went through the book quick and did not see any mention of my problem. I can not even get to the read portion of the CF. The 120 flashes from the inital Raymarine screen to the black screen waiting for input from all the other items then goes to black as in OFF. It then starts all over again.
