Anyone ever returned anything to Clarion??

I have the CMRC1-BSS remote, and it has developed an intermittant non responding key pad. I have been unable to get anything from Clarion; I called and left a message friday and they called me back today and basically said I ned to return it to the dealer. I'm certain the vendor won't want a 6 month old broken remote in exchange for a new one. Anyone have any similar issues with them?

if you take it to the dealer, they will most likely call clarion and either send the unit back to them for repair or replacement, or clarion will authorize them to give you a new one. you will probably have to pay for shipping either way.

does your clarion have a reset button on or behind the faceplate? this solves many strange problems with many head units that i have dealt with.
