Phoenix Express,

What kind of Zodiac life raft is it? What is the capacity? IS it a recreational or a commercial raft? The more information I have on the raft the better I can determine hom much it should be worth, as well as an approximation on how much it may cost to service it. If it is one of the old Zodiac SY6's it is probably not worth the $700. Comparing it to the new Zodiac coastal design, you get so much more out of the raft, its new, and you have three years on its next service date. Let me know more, and I can proabably give you some more definitve informatin

$700 and never been serviced, tough call here. 2005 was the last year they made this model, and I beleive we were selling that for around 1400. Never being serviced, a cost for a repack could be as much as $700. So the cost of this used raft plus the cost of repack would be a few hundred dollars shy of a new one, and the new ones have a self-erecting canopy. If I were you I would tell the buyer if he gets it serviced, you'll buy it for $800 or $900. That would be a fair deal for the buyer and seller. Since the life raft is vaccumed packed its service interval is every three years. Hope this helps.
