Default Liferaft recomendation

Hi, Looking for a recomendation for a liferaft:

Pursuit 34 express with hard top, intend on roof mount.
I fish 70 plus in the northeast canyons out of Shinecock LI NY. Looking for a good raft. The revere offshore 6 looks good and is in the right price range. any thoughts?

I already have a northern avionics epirb, the battery and release need to be renewed, can you do that?
Also could use a ditch bag. Maybe we could work out a full deal.

thanks for your time,

Bill

Default Re: Liferaft recomendation

Bill,
The Revere Offshore Ocean is a good deal for a 6 person Offshore Liferaft. The size is better than a lot of rafts for mounting on the hard top. I can sned you a package quote on the liferaft w/ cradle & hydrostatic release and a ditch bag. The Northern Avionics EPIRB is not one I am familiar with for marine use. I know that it is used in Aviation , I have never seenit used in for marine. I do not have access to batteries for this, If you find it to be very expensive to replace you might consider a marine EPIRB Replacement. Check with the place it came from. I looked on the internet yesterday for this and could not find a Marine version of this.
Send me you e-mail address I will forward a quote, with a couple of options.
Thanks Bill,
Jim
