Anyone having luck using the Sat phones in the Northeast? was hoping service was going to improve., No luck yet.

I thought the whole idea of a satalite phone was that you could use it anywhere?

Default Iridium
I have an iridium, seems to work well- although I plan to use it for emergenies, I have mad test calls or checked reception and it seems to be good. Got a contract through Satcomstore in Fla. They have a monthly fee with no annual contract.

Default Don't get Globalstar
Globalstar never works. Get an Iridium 9555. They will work everytime, anywhere.
