Default SUP holder?

What can you Fab to hold two SUP boards? Either in Gunwale rodholders or transom rod holders?
Thanks,

Exactly what ive been thinking about! Ive sketched up some ideas on this with the same goal. What I would propose to make them totally universal is everything round aluminum so if they are mounted in 0 degree, 15, or 30, it really doesnt matter as long as they are in the same line.

Two vertical tubes, rod butt sized, with a Horizontal tube on each one and round plate at a predetermined width maybe at the size of witch of a extremely wide board just in the event they shift..

To secure, I would think it sufficient to just strap it down to the vertical pipe at the base of the horizontal one

Edit: to secure two, i would stack like a car roof. I brought my 4 from FL to lousiana stacked on a roofrack

I was thinking more on the edge since a 32" wide SUP takes up a lot of real estate. Putting two 32" wide on your gunwales seems it may interfere....but I was thinking more along the transom rod holders so flat may work there.........I agree I put my two on the roof flat and they travel great that way though.
