Default Crown Leisure Marine in Diberville MS

I purchased my 300 from the guys over at Crown Leisure in Diberville MS after making a connection with the family who owns the business thru a friend. These guys have been super helpful from day one. They have sold me and two other buddies of mine motors and their work on installation is second to none. This coming from a guy that's OCD in a bad way! They shared all the pros and cons of the motors with me when I was shopping and ended up selling me the Suzuki. BTW...they sell Suzuki, Yamaha and Mercury....and service any and all others too. Top notch guys! Jason has become a personal friend helping me with several issues not involving my motor. First class dude! Good luck!

PS...I live 20 minutes from Duvics and have worked on several brand new boats that they have rigged. After seeing their rigging and hearing the stories of boats sitting there for weeks waiting to get serviced, there's no way my boat would be serviced there! That said, I'm sure every dealership has long waits at times but their rigging on at least two boats was enough to steer me away from there. Very poor job on the most basic things...

How about Outcast Marine in Des Allemands, LA? Don't know about there reputation, but see a lot of high end cats and other boats there. I need to stop in and check them out, I'll be the owner of 2 200 Suzukis in the next 6 weeks. They are on my way to/from my fishing areas, would be really convenient if or when I need service.

OP asked a simple question. He wants a person he can trust to work on his Suzukis. Chances are he won't need service, after all he's not buying a verado

I've had excellent service with Paradise Marine in Gulf Shores although they are a little pricey!! IMO
Hope this helps, and enjoy your Zuk's
X 2 on the Verados...

Yes I have. 5 years ago I pulled the powerhead off one of my '06 DF225's and replaced the driven gear assembly including a new mount cover plate, bearing, gaskets, etc. That repair was documented here and it was because the previous owner had never dropped the LU to replace the water pump / lube drive shaft splines, etc. Since I cut the driveshaft to do that I also ordered the parts needed to replace the shaft and all seals in the LU.
Maybe things are very different now but I had no issues getting all the OEM parts from Brownspoint Marine in NJ. Today there are 4 Suzuki dealers within 50 miles of me so I guess we're lucky here.
BTW, I just checked the Brownspoint site and they have O2 sensors for the DF300 in stock.

I'm not saying Suzuki's are better than Yamaha's or Merc's but in my experience getting parts has not been a problem. Maybe one of the Mikes from International Marine or Outboard Specialties can chime in to give us an update on Suzuki parts availability and set the record straight.

Darrin's in Biloxi has been very good to me in the past. Tell him I sent you if you go. He normally gets very high praise here on THT. He sells and services Yamaha and Merc as well. If you BS with him he will tell you he has no trouble getting Suzuki parts.

Darrins has been helpful to me in the recent past, and that was with me doing the work and buying parts and manuals for the df150 from him. they are right off i10 for convenience too

Over the years I have purchased three boats from Duvic's in Harvey. Had absolutely no problems. One time they stood up for me big time when a Suzuki factory rep wanted to deny covering an issue in warranty. Every dealer is going to get backed up in the middle of the season. You don't stay in business for 127 years (Duvic's has) by giving poor service..

Outcast in Des Allemands has been servicing our Zuk 200's for years and have nothing but positive experiences with them. Will and Jessica are good people.

I can say that getting parts is not an issue, yes things can go on back order from time to time but that happens with any manufacturer. There are many dealers like myself and brownspoint that stock common parts for suzuki, luckily like others said they don't require many failed parts to be changed out regularly. And if buying a motor from me and you have a problem with something that should end up on back order for awhile, I'll pull parts off a new motor in my inventory to satisfy a customer so you are in good hands idifulco.

I haven't used them, but there is a Suzuki dealer in Lafayette. Redmond's marine. Had my eyes on the 140 for awhile for my repower. They have their own launch for testing on the Vermillion. Thought that was pretty cool.

They were very thorough during the quote process, even offered to launch the boat to make sure we were propping correctly.

Only reason I didn't get the Zuk with them, is with new rigging and everything (and they don't do trade ins), I would have spent a good bit more than what the "grey" motor people were asking. But overall, I was impressed and pricing aside wouldn't hesitate to try them out.

Will and Jessica are awesome. I have had all my boats serviced there for years. Will is one of the best Outboard technicians in the country, That's why you see 2-3 freeman's, and many other 2-3-4 motor powered vessels being serviced weekly!
