I know what you mean. One of my favorites was Rickey's in Waveland. My wife and I were planning on going there when we were going to be in town during Labor Day weekend. I read in the Biloxi paper that there was nothing left.
That sucks.

I heard rickey's was open in a tent or something like that and serving only like 1 or 2 things..but they were open. Not sure how true it is, but I heard it from someone that lives in the area. Just FYI. Most of my favorites are gone as well..Steve's, Long Beach Lookout, Lucios in the Pass..just to name a few.
Mc Elroy's that WAS right in Biloxi harbor is only a slab of concrete.
Pirates Cove (Nice Po-boy's) between Pass Christian and Long Beach, same thing....
But, Morton's and "The garden spot" in Madisonville, LA are up and running. Ate at The Garden Spot weekend before last.

There was a phenominal restaurant out on HWY 11 in Slidell called Michael's. It was our favorite place to eat in all of Louisiana. Excellent food and on the water. Its gone too. I'm hoping he rebuilds. Many won't.
I passed down I-55 a few times while the Causeway was closed... Middendorf's buildings look to be intact. Not sure if they are open for business though.
