How did you make out during the storm? I hope all is ok.
I have always heard the offshore fishing is real good after a hurricane, don't know about inshore fishing. I have fished offshore after a tropical storm once and it was good. But the storm wasn't nearly as bad as Ivan.
All Alabama waters south of I-10 are temporarily closed to boating. Due to safety and trying to stop any looting. I haven't heard when they will reopen them.

Waters are still closed. One marina said over 90 boats are missing, don't know where they are. Possible Navigation Hazards. They have not said when the waters will be back open. If you can find one of these new "reefs", fishing may be good.

i'd love to go "fishing after ivan" but the forecast all week here is 20kt winds and 6- 8 foot seas...they say it's ivan's carcass getting pushed back over florida and into the gulf again...
