I plan on fishing this Kingfish Tournament on Sept 25th-26th with my father and brothers. Any other THT'ers going to be there?

I will be. Provided someone doesn't buy my boat before tommorow afternoon. Headed down Thursday night to stay the weekend. Hope the wind lays down more that they are saying now.

Hey Fairgame, a pleasure meeting you as well. I'm up there pretty often as my dad lives in Carrabelle. A good thing we had family there....it would have been a long drive from Houston just to take a beating like that.

5-7 foot seas the first day. Second day called off for higher winds/seas. Maybe 5-6 fish hit the scales with the 10K fish in the 30# area. A 12lb fish was in the top 5 and won $500. I caught a shark for my trouble. On a sad note: Team Fountain boat stuffed it at high speed off St. Georges Island putting at least three crewmen in the hospital, one with severed fingers. On a happier note: over $62,000.00 raised for leukemia research.
