Default Who was in the parking lot Sun?

We did an overnighter Sat night and into the next day Sun. It was real slow for us . . . it sounded that way for most everybody (and there was a lot of boats over there). Kings and sharks. Tuna probably showed up around 1:30 pm (that's when we left).

I saw Tunatic out there.

Also saw JCC123 and his crew. They rolled out early to some other areas (good move) while we stayed to chunk kings and sharks. Then we caught up with them at Ellzey's fueling up.

I swear I almost pee'd my pants when I pulled up they were unloading a BIG BAG OF BANANAS! The bag split open and bananas were everywhere!

There was so many bananas in there I am certain that is why the fishing was so slow!

Anyways saw a lot of other folks I knew out there. Who else was out there?

P.S. Final result for us was some king and AJ . . . slow trip.

-Rob

I was out there too feeding the kings and sharks! Was that you on the radio saying you were throwing up that morning cause it kicked up? Had a friend on our boat who made a few dives and said the deeper he went the dirtier it got.

No def. not me. We spent the night out there. It was a lot rougher in the night time. It laid down some time between 1:30am and 5:20 am (we were sleeping). Woke up and it was real nice!

What does your contender look like?

The only one I can describe with any detail was a white hull with red bottom paint. It was unique.

We went out to the tennis shoes yesterday on my boat a white hull with black bottom 27 contender called the Subdude. It was stale for us too. After chunking for several hours we headed east looking for hoos to no avail. They had one pocket of 67 degree bluewater that we ran through 2 miles east of the east salt dome.Unfortunately that little finger didnt go very far.We had to settle for the trash can slam with a limit of ajs on the way in.The 265 blocks were covered in green 62 degree water too.Oh well cant catch em on the couch I guess.Maybe next time.
Tight Lines,Team Subdude

We had banana's on-board so we could chunk them.
The kings love them!
I was nice to just be out there with 50 of my close friends.
I did move on around noon and found some better water.
Cought some blackfin on top and called it a day.

Yep that's it! Had a crazy friend of mine who was doing a little bit of free diving while we were chumming.

I was on the GB cat tied up to the rig when you came trolling around.

Only reason I noticed your boat was I thought it was your anchor bouy hanging over the front. When you got closer I could tell it was red bottom paint.

We had our fill of kings and sharks at that point. But we did go back for more hoping the tuna showed up with all the BANANA CHUNKS floating around.

Let's grab a beer sometime Nick!

-Rob

p.s. who's going this weekend? I am!

Talking about parking lots, remember the last time you and I were lounging at the marina? That poor lady. I still piss my pants thinking about that day. Good times !!!

I am out to prove the banana has been given a bad wrap!
Rob has had great trips on my boat when he didn't even know there was a banana on-board.

Better watch that knee if you go skiing. Even better, take a banana with you for good luck!

Jim

Proven fact that bananas are bad luck. pulled up to the shoes on sunday and had an alarm go off. i turn around and had i guy on the boat pealing back a banana about to eat it. i took the banana and threw it overboard and the alarm immediatly stopped. never had anymore alarms go off the rest of the day

Jim is trying to be nice and not throw me under the bus. I'm the one who brings a couple bananas on every trip we take. That includes the night we caught a 5 man limit of yellows with Rob. I may have to hide them when we take our trip to Alaska. Hey, Rob do they even sell bananas in Alaska? If not let me know, I'll have them shipped along with Chris' blow up Drew Brees doll.
