Default Still looking for a camp in Cocodrie or Fourchon.

Any leads would be appreciated. I don't mind renting, and I don't mind being partners with someone.

Just went and looked. Most of his are in GI, and I hate, repeat: hate, the GI politics. Ugh...

Does it have to be a "summer home" type place or will a "camp" do? If you are looking for a "camp" I saw there is one run down place for sale near the Fourchon public launch (access by boat only) for $6k.

I agree about GI. Fourchon is where it's at! I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

baot access only with generator power and rain water collected showers may be a little more "camp" than i want, but it certainly doesn't have to be a summer home in pointe fourchon. even a trailer would work.

There is a camp for sale in Pointe Fourchon two down from where ours used to be. They want a hefty price tag though. PM me if youre interested, I can swing by and get you a flyer

Looks like I found a steal of a deal in Cocodrie, so that might be my home away from home. I don't like how hard it is to find live bait there, but for the savings I can get used to it.

After you close on it, if you dont mind, share the pics and information. I am looking for a decent benchmark, as I too and probably many others, are in search of a good camp.

Asking prices are rediculous right now, 750 thousand for 2k ft in fourchon? Give me a break!

I was wondering which politics you were referring to in Grand Isle. I've never had any issues. However, the trout fishing in Cocodrie is definitely better!

I believe the local police are awful. I think the permitting process for doing anything to your camp is awful. If you've never had any issues, you must have never had any contact, imho.

We'll, sorry for your issues down there. I have had good luck with the police down there. They actually ran down a guy a couple of years ago after he tried to break into my camp. Cocodrie is nice though.

Is this camp for rent? If so, I would like the details.

Thanks
