If i don't go fishing soon i am going to go broke!
I will have to open a tackle shop and hope for bad weather.

If we don't get a break we can go see Gordon and make him take us. He's still wanting to get back up here for a trip, I think he misses us.

Don't flatter yourself! Any time any of you want to come down to fish with me, I'll show you the same courtesy y'all have showed me in the past- fortunately for me that means all I have to do is run around the Gulf all day and not put you on any fish and break the ones we do catch off at the gaff Well, except for Geaux001- I'll have to actually put him on some fish since he always put me on them.

I'm dying to get out down here too. Weather sucks and still no word on my hatch cover from Contender.

Thinking of heading up that way for New Years or sooner if y'all get another trip up. Doubtful I'll bring the boat unless I get the guy that bought my old one to paint the bottom.

It doesn't get too cold up in the gulf coast does it? You boat year round right? Down here in SE FL it finally broke from being 88-90 and looks like it will be low 80s next couple of days.

It gets a tad bit chilly up there(lows in the 20's and 30's some nights) and fronts usually come through every 3-4 days or so- BUT if it's calm enough to get out there is a great Tuna and Wahoo fishery there in the winter

Jim,my wife told me if I bring one more bait into the house, she is going to run me off. Even after 30 years. So now I been sending them along with my son. Hell, the local Walmart had stretch 30's for $7.00 each(hot pink). Clean them out in one trip.LOL

East winds 20 knots here for the forseeable future. Still waiting on my hatch cover from Contender anyway...Been 3 weeks.
