Default Good day at Big Lake

Sunday I went over to Lake Charles for a late trip. We didn't get out to the lake till almost 11:00. I had my two sons with me, both adults, and my 4 yr old daughter. We didn't do much till mid afternoon when we fished the birds. My son doesn't have a trolling motor on his 19 Cape Horn so we had to drift and move without disturbing the fish. We did three drifts and got a nice bunch of good size specks. The highlite was my daughter hooking up using her pink pole, pink jig head, and pink jelly skirt that was probable made for sac-a-lait fishing under a popping cork. Just goes to show that when they are biting, they will hit anything.

Default She's a Sweetheart!!!

Reminds me of when I used to take my two girls fishing with me all the time. They are both grown up and gone now, but we still get to go once in a while when they make it back 'home' for a few days. Some of the best time I ever spent with my girls was on the water. Good show, Beenie!
