Went last weekend to the city rigs. 4 on board & ended up with 7 nice red snapper (15-25lbs) 3 scamp, 2 gag grouper & 4 AJ's. Using 250 power pro w/ 250 ande leader & got broke off regularly, nothing like going back after the ones that got away.

Fished yesterday near the Horseshoes. Ling were pretty thick on most of the rigs, but they were deep, not on top. Managed to land 2 in the 30-40 pound range. Lost a few others to the rig legs and one at boatside (my wifes first attempt at gaffing). Weather was nice but very hot. Thunder started rolling in around noon so we headed north. No snapper or AJ's (thought it was odd not to find some AJ, but oh well). Had some big sharks and huge cuda in the chum line as well as Kings and Bonita. All in all great day on the water!!

working this weekend. ya'll post some results when you get back. a friend of mine caught a 93 pound ling fishing out of pascagoula thursday.

Left Sun. morning, fished Medusa and the Lexington. No tuna jumping and nothing but cudas on live bait. Searched a little south for something to fish before we decided to head N. Came across a nice color change about 5 SE of 152. Line was loaded with chick dolphin so we caught about 50. Pulled baits for a while and managed 1 bull and an 80lb yellowfin then got frustrated trying to keep the lines clear of chick dolphin. We were treated to some to some large Makos free jumping in the green water side of the rip. Quite a sight!!! All in all nice day on the water.
