Do you know if they are open on saturdays? Phone number?

It's probably too late for you, but their phone # is 337-984-2110.

If you can't make it there during regular hours maybe I can go pick up your order so you can get it at your convenience. Let me know.

Default fir (or cedar?) plywood

Give Jefferson Fiberglass in Harvey LA a call. That's the last place I found it. (504) 347-6612.

All I can say is wow!

I've been following this thread out of curiosity . . .

That being said, there has been so many people trying to come together and help someone they don't even know. Truly amazing.

There are some great people from around the coast on this web site!

It's a shame everybody in the world isn't like that . . .

Thanks Mike. I was able to pick up the plywood.Nice 75 mile drive with only 5 state troopers on I10. Now maybe tomorrow I will lay it out and start cutting things if I don't have a bad night at work. I will take pictures and post up and answer any questions.

Rob,there are still some very good people out there.

Thanks to all for the quest in finding some plywood.

OK guys,I had started my lay out yesterday. So,what I wil do is repost this build over in the boating form. That way others that live in different parts of the world might see this and learn what a pirogue is. I will come back here in post a link.

Thanks again for the quest.
