Talking How about them Ole Miss Rebels!

That was a stellar performance from a number four team! That was awful. The worst part is South Carolina's offense didn't play well. If Spurrier had gotten his team moving the ball it would have been a blowout.

Happens to many early ranked teams when they finally play someone. Not that USC really qualifies as 'someone'. Some how I doubt Spurrier is talking to bowl committees just yet ...

Funny, this thread wasnt even about bama.

Ole Miss was way over ranked, if the cocks' would have been clicking that score would have been twice what it was.

Will be interesting to see where they land in the polls in comparison to USC.l.

that can be said for any team everywhere.

Personally, I would have ranked them around #20 at best but never saw them going too far. There are a few more teams in that top 10 that i see falling off real soon as well

Even if ole miss was over ranked they were still the number 4 team and the only team to beat Florida last year. It is funny how Carolina beats em and all of the sudden they are over ranked, I reckon it is hard for people to acknowledge the the accomplishments of carolina. They had a good game, the offense was doing well, in the 4th they played conservative because the QB was injured and his backup was out with the Flu.

Ole miss looked flat, but they will be back. You say overrated, but who would you put above them. It is too early in the year to really know about teams. SC is a team that is 1 play away from being 3-0.

Ole miss looked good and they will be back. Snead personally lost the game. He didn't do anything!

Agreed. I think ole miss is still a good team. It is easy to look bad when you have a defense that was playing like carolina's. Snead is a good QB but the line has got to protect him better, which I would think wouldn't be that hard considering the size of those fellas.

Nutt should have put McCluster at tailback sooner. I like Bolden but he doesn't create holes like McCluster can.

O-Line confirmed my fears. They better step it up..and quick.

Snead needs to settle down and stop over-throwing his passes like he did early last year.

I like the defense.

How can you not agree with them being over ranked when snead couldnt hit a 15 yarder without over throwing.

Snead is Hot or Cold, very little in between. That has to play with the O line's heads a little...

It was nice to see so many SEC teams in the top 10, though...and hope those guys settle down and do well the rest of the season.

Many qb's make the ocasional bad pass, even more so when pressured. Teebow doesn't have a 100% completion and it is not from lack of trying. Why do you feel they should not be ranked, other than lossing to USC.

that was ridiculous...no way they are even a top 15-20 team. I think LSU is overated also. Ms state gave them the game. worst 2 plays ive ever seen called....6" to go to win the game with dixon running like a bull. Ridiculous. I guess thats SEC football..especially on the road.
