The "Dirty Birds" always play hard against the Saints. In the 90's we lost 3 consecutive Atlanta games with the same score 20-17. This Atlanta-N.O. rivalry leads to extremely competitive games!! Whew!! we left with a win and that's good!

And given the fact that the Saints were 12-0 going into the game with Atlanta still in the hunt for a playoff berth the results did not surprise me.
I figured Atlanta would give this game everything they had. Every team out there would love to knock off a team that is 12-0. The Colts have struggled through a few of their games as well.
They continue to do whatever it takes on either side of the ball to fight their way to a "W". Hopefully this will be a plus for them when they get to the playoffs. Diversity, in terms of how they win their games, may better condition them for those close games where they have to fight to the finish to win a playoff game.
I thought Atlanta's coach Smith was going to have cardiac arrest during this game!
Since my Bucs suck I have followed the Saints. Wish we had a team half as good as the Saints or Colts, heck we had the previous Colts coach TG and fired him....brilliant!!

The team is rested and word is they are pumped! Deuce will be leading the team out onto the field at the start of the game. Saints are a 7 point favorite over the cards but those odds will likely increase with today's signing of the Deuce!
