Anyone know of any for bluewater fishing? I will have a new boat and want to get some experience on it with a experienced deck hand or guide. Most only want to take their own boats I have found.

i will be fishing fourchon this weekend. i am by no means a proffessional, but we do regularly catch fish. i would be willing to show some rigging and maybe help to map out the blocks in the area. pm me if you'd like.

Not to take anything from the professionals, but I think if you made the offer to provide the boat, beer, and fuel for the weekend, a few guys would be willing to take the trip for free and show you some spots and teach you some general rigging... A pro might not give up the spots.
