Default empress marine in moss point ms closing

took my boat to empress marine thursday for water pump rebuild and got a call this morning to pick it up as they are closing the marine business. floyd seal said they will be selling the boats motors and parts for 30 days at give away prices. floyd will still be active with the audio business in gulfport. they are a great team and wish them the best. hopefully we can get those clowns in washington to change their agenda and get the economy back on track before we lose too many more small companies.

Yeah, I just talked to Paul, the manager, and he confirmed it. Said Floyd was losing too much money in the boat business. Floyd told me he couldn't even get floorplan financing any more and any boats he ordered he had to pay for out of pocket. Sucks big time as I just bought a new boat from him in April. Might be hard to find a dealer to warrant the Key West, not so much the Suzuki though. I know all those people over there and they are a really decent bunch of folks and I wish them all the best.

I stopped by today and they had alot of people there buying. If you are looking for a deal, now is a good time to go check out their inventory. Floyd is a great guy, and I am sure he would like to move as much Inventory as possible.

Was in there yesterday and Paul told me that they just decided that morning to continue to give it a go for a while. They will not be closing the doors at the end of the month and will continue to sell Key West boats.

I was in there this afternoon and found out the same thing. They appeared to be fully stocked.
