Default WOW! Southeast wind.

Looks like the weather pattern is gonna change for the next few days, maybe more. Hopefully this will get us some blue-er water to fish for august.

Yea, seems like this weekend was on fire. Bad thing is if your reading the reports you didnt make one and the next time out aint gonna be the same. I have been stuck in north alabama for the last two weekends and am counting down the days wishing that the action stays consistant. LC

Well, I suppose it might have been great to be out further than 16 miles on Saturday, but, anywhere between 16 miles and Dauphin Island was an extra special, "How much seawater can you drink" event, at least in a 26' Regulator on Saturday. Wicked nasty.

I was told it wasn't that bad once you were more than 30 miles out. Didn't dare push through the storm. Put the Reg on the lift and fired up the Margarita machine.

Same here. We braved it for 12 miles. Hooked a couple of Kings, then loafed back in to wait for storm front after storm front inside the islands.
Sunday was a beauty though. Not a pole on the boat as it was declared National Mississippi Redneck/LSU Island day. Had a blast.
