I am planning to charter a boat in Venice, LA the first or 2nd weekend in November. How is the fishing then? What species are most available?

thanks

Tuna, AJ's and Mangroves pretty much a sure thing. Possibly some late dolphin or early hooters.

Is early November typically a good time to be fishing Venice? If I had my choice, what would be the best months? thanks

Late October is usually pretty good. Used to be great before they closed the snapper season. We start to get a few fronts by then, that is really the only problem.
If you duck hunt, you might want to wait until the first split opens and get some hunting in while your down there.
