Think how much fuel that rig must generate-(you would think they would burn more than produced at that speed/mpg).
Its amazing how much fuel/gas/oil one rig can generate.
Not a safety rep at all. Every time I go to one of the yards to do work for an oil service co. I have to get out the toes and hard hat and safety glasses. I'm just glad they dropped the long sleeve requirement.

Well we are finally ballasting up and heading southeast. ETA to Trinidad August 15. I'll be looking for the elusive bluewater and will continue reports along the way. Getting ready to go set up a few lines now. Looking forward to getting back and fishing a little closer to the water though (with beer).

It's a nice day in the Carribean, a little choppy but the breeze is nice. Making good time but not catching any fish. Trolled 800 miles without a bite

Finally made it to Trinidad. I'm ready to get back to the GOM and fish out of my boat instead of off the rig. How has it been? Blue water still way out?
