Does this fish haven hold snapper at this time of the year? What other stuff can one expect to catch bottom fishing here? Thanks.

Good to hear, thanks for the info bluffman. Any tips on how to catch them? I hear live croakers or dead pogies on a bottom rig. I'm new to the offshore thing, so any advice would be helpful.

probally catch them on a bare hook......LOL

cigars,pogies...pretty much any natural bait...also butterfly jigs are killer for catching snapper and grouper.....

if you can get some live pinfish try them also

just throw some pogies over the side and free gaff the ones you want. everything ive heard is snapper are a joke right now. just get some weight ( 2-4 oz should be enough for that depth), 6/-8/0 circle hook and drop anything to the bottom. chances are, it wont make it to the bottom. make sure you have a vent took and flipper

You guys nailed this one. We made the run out this morning. Nothing was biting at FH3, but the wind was dead, so we ran out to FH1 and limited out in about hour or two. Every wreck was loaded with fish. Caught on dead pogies. Also had a throwback gag, and a couple of big break-offs (sharks maybe). My wife foul hooked that big trigger. Thanks again for the info guys.
