Default Clearwater beach

After my dreams of a week in Mexico getting smashed by Swine Flu. I needed to regroup fast. So instead of going to Playa del Carmen on 5/9 through 5/16 we are headed to Clearwater Beach Fla. on the same dates. can anyone please give me some info on the fishing down there and if there are any recomended boats open or charter. Thanks in advance.

Great fishing this time of year... Are you bringing a boat? The Kings are running righ tnow and should be easily targeted on your trip. Grouper is also in season offshore in 60+' of water. Inshore, there are Reds, Trout, Snook and the Tarpon will definately be here. Great time to come.

Check the Florida Sportsman Forum for guide info if you don't get a response here. I'm headed out this Friday and can't wait. Clearwater beach is beautiful. Rent a boat if you can and explore the local islands.

If you ever need a boat in Clearwater Your best choice is the 86 Proof in Clearwater Marina, the number is 727-403-6714 Capt. John Topicz
