Default Venice YFT-Charter

Anyone have any suggestions/info on charters out of Venice. My brother and I are getting married in March/May. We are looking at having a bachelor fishing party. We are looking at going Jan.-March. We would like to stay the night on land one night and off land one night. We are up for suggestions. Please advise on time and location.

Thanks
Nick

Owe, we aren't looking for some sissy trip. We want hardcore fishermen/captains.
Thanks

I would recommend capt eddie burger out of venice. He goes by the screen name CaptEddie here on the forum.Do a search under his name and you will see alot of good fishing reports and you can pm him for details. It may be hard to get in an overnight trip during that time of the year being the weather is so unpredictable.Good luck.

Eddie produces fish as Will. Both post here. Also, check www.venicemarina.com for more info and another place is to read www.rodnreel.com.Weather is a very big factor that time of the year.Very few overnighter trips, but the best time of the year to have a chance to catch a 200+lb yellowfin tuna.

Things to have along with you would be very good rain gear and rubber boots and of course icechest/baggies for your catch.Another thing is a few trips are canncel due to weather.Fronts are a killer that time of the year.Ya'll do need to book now becouse alot of these charters book up early and so does rooms down there.Good Luck!

There is a very outside chance of a overnighter for swordfish during that timeframe. But it is very very weather dependent. Two day trips is probaly the best thing to do. A day of tuna and a day of wahoo or either grouper fishing. Besides strippers don't like the cold so much at night.
