Default Venice Yellowfin with Capt. William Wall

Capt. William Wall of Pelagic Charters came on our boat Wednesday to put us on some Yellowfin Tuna. After making bait we hit the first location with no luck. After a short period of time we left there and headed to the second location. Just five minutes after we set out our lines we had the first strike but the big yellowfin spit the hook. A short time after we hooked up with a huge fish that we fought for over an hour before she broke off. Following that we caught and boated as many yellowfin as we could physically handle. Seeing a huge yellowfin hit a live bait and greyhound 8' into the air is an unbelievable experience!
When we had our fill of yellowfin we asked Capt. Will to put us on some blackfin (which we love for sushi) and we caught as many as we wanted. Having space left for only 1 more fish I asked Capt. Will if he knew where we might be able to hook up with a grouper on the way in. He said he knew just the spot and we made made our way in toward the pass. We stopped at a location about halfway in and made a drop and with a few short minutes we boxed a fine grouper. With the wind kicking up, the boxes full, and sore arms we made our way in to the pass. I planned to post some pics after the trip but due to dead batteries I was unable to make that happen.

Guys, if you are looking to have that terrific trip and put some yellowfin in the boat give Capt. Will of Pelagic Charters a call, you will not regret it. He is really on his game. He will put you on the Yellowfin. We had a great time and truely enjoyed Capt. Will's company and were extremely impressed with his expertise and knowledge. We have already planned our next trip!
