The Estuary Program is fully committed to the strategy of using harvested sediment from the Atchafalaya and Mississippi Rivers and from offshore sources to restore our coastal landscape. This latest video is our attempt to get this strategy established as a meaningful restoration technique. It’s the only method that will get us to a coast that will protect us from storm surges in a reasonable amount of time!
