Well, my dad, brother and I finally got a chance to get down to Fourchon to check on the camp. We didn't wander around all of Port Fourchon much (i.e., we didn't go down by the marina or anything), we just went down, cleaned the camp, and came back. I did however get lots of pics on the drive down and back and also got lots of pictures of Point Fourchon for anyone interested. Based on the water lines on our camp, surge appeared to be 6-7 feet. Also, the power situation is pretty much a mess. There are lines criss-crossing on the pavement all along highway 1. We drove over lots of them all along the way. Anyway, since I know none of you will read this and everyone will skip straight to the pictures, here you go...

Our Camp:
Thankfully, we had almost no damage. Lots of mud and marsh grass to clean up, but that's about it...
Point Fourchon:
Overall, the area made out much better than I expected. Lots of camps had damage to the lower levels as expected, but everything else appeared to not be very catastrophic. There is definitely lots of work to do before everyone is back to normal, but all in all everyone survived...
That's all I got. Hope this helps anyone that needed some pictures or info. Also, good luck to everyone on the coast with Ike. I don't think any of us are ready to deal with another one...
