We have a redfish tournament coming up soon! It is an online photo tournament. During the tournament, anglers submit their catches with the length of the fish, and two pictures- one picture of the fish and the angler, and one picture of the fish next to a measuring device, showing its length. The tourny will be from Saturday Janurary 19, 2008 until Sunday February 3, 2008. The registration fee is $20 and you are able to register after the tournament has begun. Hopefully this is an opportunity to get anglers out on the water and bring them together amidst their competitiveness. Anyone is welcome to enter the tournament, as well as any type of angler(surf, boat, spinning, conventional, fly, etc...). To enter or get more information, shoot an email to

Official Rules:
1. All fish must be caught on hook and line(although any type)
2. This is an individual tournament. The angler mey recieve no help except for netting the fish.
3. The winning fish will be the longest fish. If multiple angler catch fish of the same length, then the fish submitted first will be the winner.
4. Fishing may begin at 12:01 AM on Saturday Janurary 19, 2008 and all fish mut be submitted by 11:59 PM on Sunday February 3, 2008.
5. The winning angler will recieve 40% of all cash, second place will recieve 15% of all cash, and third place will recieve 10% of all cash.
6. An angler may submit as many fish as they want, as often as they want, but every submitted fish must have the length, one picture of the fish and the angler, and on picture of the fish next to a measuring device, showing its length.
