Default JCC and Bass Pro

Jim, if you see this in time please get me 4 S51MR Mirrolures in the color Prism Shiner. Academy doesn't stock them and they will be worth having this spring for the big trout. Also, since we couldn't fish Friday and I took off work I spent a couple hours working on my knots. I was practicing joining power pro to 80lb mono leader. The only power pro I had was the 30# on my trout reels. The power pro was breaking right at the surgeons loop at around 20lb pressure. The power pro was basically cutting itself. I can get the joining knot you taught me to seat just fine as long as I limit the wraps to around 7 or 8 but it is not breaking at the join only at the surgeons loop. I wonder how much strength we are getting using the 90lb power pro and if this is the limiting factor?

Agreed, learn the Red Phillips knot. It is the one.

Mike,
I will see if they have those lures and get you some. Yea, the surgeons always worries me. To be honest with you i have completely gotten away from PP. The JB seems to be holding up though. I am looking at using the Red knot though.

Will be back in town Sunday.
Check the weather!!!!
