Alright, its the week, we need to get some plans together. The weather may not cooperate but with the river low and a front coming through, we can make chicken salad out Gamecock dung. Its also possible this front will actually push through on Thursday and Sat will be magnificient.
Boomer's making plans to get the grills together and I'm guessing most of the cooking will be Saturday night. Let's finalize who's bringing what, and get a plan together.
Red, have you talked to Bill or the marina at all? If not, has somebody called them? I can make a call too if nothings been done, I just need to know and need a show of hands of who's coming, not the fair weather guys, but those who are going despite a little wind and like a fishing challenge.
As of now, I'm bringing two grills, one little Weber, and a gas grill from my house. I'm thinking of making a big pot of red beans, and getting several pork loins. We can easily throw some corn on the grill or make a salad. If I do this, do we think we can all pitch in a bit?
Point is, I'd rather not think we're going to wing it. LEt's assign some duties and do it right...
Man, I just came in the house. Been getting things ready and I DO have 1 sack of peanuts boiled and ready to bring. I'll bring a table and we could probably use another one. Everybody remember a lawnchair to park on too.
Boomer, I have at least 4 chair in a bags at the camper. Plus the grills.
Boiled Peanuts?????
I would like to get a vote on what people would like to eat. I have no problem cooking before hand, I can see bringing some red or white beans and letting whoever fishes to put together enough fish to fry. Beans and fried fish would satisfy even guys who like boiled peanuts...
Not trying to speak for anyone but, head count best I can remember of definites is me, JCC123, Boomer, Rbhankins, Snapperhead, Boomer's friend from work, Redweiser, Tunatic and crew, Geaux001 and crew, Prockvoan and crew(6?), Stumprunner and crew.
25 folks assuming 4 man crews for Tunatic, Geaux, and Stumprunner, and 6 for Prockvoan.

Add 4 more. A friend is bringing his boat plus 3 crew. Might have a extra bed in their cabin if needed.I've got to go to work in the morning and be home Wed. night or Thur. Whatever ya'll decide is fine with me. Red says the Butlers will take care of us.
I can bring potato salad and cole slaw.
How about paper plates and plastic forks and knifes? I can bring them also.
Geaux, I also have one of those tailgating grills that my apartment complex is making me get rid of. If you want i will bring it and just leave it there for you. I don't have a place to keep it an it is perfrct for your camp.
I'm looking like I may only have my brother with me. GF's aren't going, and my dad is going to watch LSU kick some Wildcat ace. I know I can put together something quick but if anyone wants in with me, I'd rather probably keep it amongst THT'ers for obvious reasons. I 'll know for sure by tomorrow evening. If anyone wants to claim a spot, let me know...
I haven't fished offshore in over a month, I might be little rusty but I don't think I've lost my touch just yet....
I will be staying at C Cove but trying ny hardest to make my way too yall so I can put some faces with names. Only gonna have the kayak down there for the rodeo Sat so offshore is out. Would be great just to shoot the shet with yall though.
My crew of 6 is still in.Even the farcast looks better. Now for once I hope they get it right. What is needed?I can bring anything that is needed. If we get offshore or even close to shore, some nice red snapper on the half shell on the pit would be great, fresh tuna on the grill would work too!Let me know what I can bring.Bread,a cow or a few 24 year old babes?Oh,that last one will not work. The wife will have to do just for me!I will be working today and tomorrow, off till next monday night for a change. So we will be heading down some time friday.I will be checking back now and then.
I'll be down from Friday through Sunday, but I have a crew that wants to stay down river all weekend. If the weather cooperates, we'll be heading offshore. Otherwise we'll stay inside around PAL.
Gordon, yes, and I tried to call you back this morning. I'm waiting on confirmation from my brother... If he says he can't go, then I'm going to hook up with you guys. Doesn't matter the boat. Time to get Brent back for the lucky azzwhoopin he put on us last winter...
